Blaine Dunkley is a New York City based Camera, Steadicam, Gimbal & Drone Operator, working across narrative film, television, and live music. An ICG Local 600 member, he runs Steadicam, handheld, wheels, gimbals, long lenses and jib.
His operating credits include A-Camera/Steadicam on Fault (Tribeca 2026), A-Camera on The Next Play, Steadicam on Our Bodies & Other Shames (Bentonville 2026), To Fade Away (ECA 2025, Sloan Foundation), camera operator on a comedy sketch with Anne Hathaway and Bowen Yang, and the CNN/HBO live broadcast of Good Night and Good Luck.
On the broadcast side, he works regularly for NBC and Versant/MSNow as a live Steadicam and Jib Operator on The Today Show, Morning Joe, Velshi, Primetime specials, and Election Night coverage. In live music, he has operating credits with Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Chappell Roan, Don Toliver, Muse, Foreigner, Jon Batiste, and Justin Timberlake.
A 2026 ICG Emerging Cinematographer Awards honoree and former Local 52 lighting technician, Blaine brings a DP's eye for light and composition to every operating job.
