Blaine Dunkley - Director of Photography
I've been flying FAA Part 107 certified since 2018, mostly as an extension of my work as a DP rather than as a separate drone gig. That means I'm usually the one who already knows the scene, the light, and what the sequence needs before the drone ever goes up.
The work has taken me over La Paz and into the Madidi rainforest for Tigre Gente with National Geographic, across Glacier National Park and the Montana high country north of Yellowstone for The Undefeated, and out to the desert near Joshua Tree for a music video. Closer to home, I've shot wind turbines standing over Midwest corn, plate work in the Angeles National Forest for visual effects, and neighborhood streets in Pennsylvania.
